We expect to receive over 750 guests at our event, and we need over 300 volunteers to make sure things run smoothly. If you are passionate about being part of the solution to end homelessness in Toronto, volunteering at Homeless Connect Toronto is a great way to get involved.

The types of event volunteers we need are:


Greeters welcome each guest to the event, starting at the front door. You will act as an usher to help people find their way to the event, as well as answer any questions and offer additional support.


Registration assist guests in filling out registration forms and help guests to identify the services that they would like to access at the event.


Guides accompany our guests from registration to the services. You will also answer questions and assist guests with locating the services throughout the day.


Gophers provides extra support to services and/or relieve other volunteers so they will receive adequate breaks. You will assist at different stations throughout the day.


Data helps enter information from registration and exit surveys throughout the event day.


Set-up/tear-down assists with set-up prior to the event and tear-down at the end of the event.
