Opportunities

We are a community focused organization with a 10-year history of helping people when they need us the most and providing resources for them to thrive. Our supportive and human approach is reflected internally: we have built a culture on our team that prioritizes flexibility and ensures opportunities for team members to choose how they want to engage with their community through service.

We offer flexible schedules, remote or in-person positions, and a tight knit team coming from all walks of life.  If you want to grow your career somewhere that allows you to make a difference every day and support our Toronto homeless community– our team would love to have you!

Our Values at Work

We prioritize kindness and respect for everyone we encounter, whether they access our services, work with us, or attend our events, fostering a strong sense of community - people come first. Homeless Connect Toronto values diversity and encourages applications from Indigenous Peoples, racialized individuals, those with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ communities. We promote an inclusive culture that supports all team members.

People First

We prioritize treating our guests with full dignity, going beyond typical services with offerings like haircuts, styling, nail services, clothing, and massages, boosting their confidence. We extend this approach to our internal team, ensuring they can care for themselves while serving our guests at Homeless Connect.

Dignity

Our goal is to create an inclusive society with safe, sustainable housing for all. We tailor our approach to individual needs, focusing on fair treatment, access, and opportunity. Simultaneously, we work to identify and remove barriers that hinder the participation of marginalized groups.
